Last week, you may have noticed a message on your profile page about the new "Extended Profile". The extended profile allows people to move unused profile boxes to an expandable part of their profile. Friends now click through to see the boxes located in the extended portion. We launched this feature in response to complaints from you that the profile had become too cluttered, and with so many applications, it was overwhelming to clean it up.
Another complaint we heard was that it was becoming more and more difficult to find what you were looking for on a friend's profile. If you came to someone's profile just looking to find their phone number or email address, it was hard to find that information quickly.
Extended profile has helped with this problem, and in addition, this week we've also decided to lock the "Personal Information" box—which includes contact information—into the spot beneath your Mini-Feed on your profile. You won't be able to move this box; we're hoping this makes it easier for your friends to get in touch with you when they want by not having to scour your entire profile for one small piece of info.

Way back in December, we introduced a feature that makes it easy to turn photos that you're tagged in into great profile pictures. First we introduced a link to "Make Profile Photo" link beneath photos in which you were tagged.
